Here I am at the Young Wine Writer of the Year Award, along with Robin Wood from my publisher Anova and none other than Aldo Zilli! We're at Australia House where Aldo is filming something or other... And we are drinking some great Aussie wines! Joy!

He brought with him some fantastic, if unexpected news! I have been made an Officier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole by le Ministere de l’Alimentation, de l’Agriculture et de la Peche… (along with Catherine Deneuve (yes!) and Louis Pasteur… Howzat! Here is a picture of the certificate, there is a medal to come too!
