Oz Talk

Signing at The Wine Show

2 Comments 14 November 2010

Here I am with Amanda Newton from Corks & Cases, signing some of my books at The Wine Show at Olympia in London. It’s been a great event – yesterday was particularly packed – and I’ve had some great wine! If you were here, leave a comment and let me know what you thought. If you weren’t, try harder next year!

Attended on Sat 13th, Oz signed my book and was very pleasant to my wife and me. Talked briefly about my fondness of South African wine, particularly Boschendal Shiraz and recommended Yalumba which i loved.

    Top man !

  2. Lisa says:

I was there on Friday, was lovely to meet you Oz, you were totally charming and I was a bit star-struck!!

Thought the show was great, love the new combination with Masterchef Live, a great way to show the wines in a wider market and to teach some more folk about wine.

I’ll be back next year, definitely!

  • And that's quite enuf Burgundy-ising. Kiwi Pinot doesn't need it, but those Seresin 2011s may be an exception. Check them out @Armit_Wines .

Raupo Creek - denser, richer, broody, definitely funky, packed with chewy dark fruit and fumes of bitter-edged spice. Top Gevrey style in 10.

.. If you wanted to get all Burgundian, Tatou is taut, scented yet mineral, very Savigny 1er Cru-ish, led by acid, stony Wairau at its best.
