13th February 2006
2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, Kangarilla Road,
Absolutely delightful Aussie Cabernet from slow-ripening, high-altitude vineyards on the edge of the fairly warm McLaren Vale, and this accentuates the perfume and juiciness of the wine. The fruit is wonderfully pure: ripe, sweet blackcurrant, as rich as you could want, scented wih fresh mint and cocooned in cream.
