Wine of the Week

24th April 2006

2004 Sauvignon Blanc, Adelaide Hills,
South Australia, £4.99, Co-op

Adelaide Hills is an expensive place to grow grapes, so the Co-op has done really well in seeking out this mouthwatering but gentle Sauvignon, with its bright melon, apple flesh and pear fruit and mild lemon acidity and mineral rasp.
