The vines are situated in some of Mendoza's higher vineyards, and the grapes clearly appreciate the conditions. This is splendid stuff – rich plum and prune fruit with a good herb rasp and grainy tannin that adds bite to lovely chocolaty texture and sweet nutty oak.
