2003 Rioja Blanco Crianza, Linaje Vetiver
When I say a wine smells of peromones, I sort of expect to be misunderstood. But pheromones are very personal, and I mean it has a rather sexy sweaty smell, glistening fresh sweat caused by plenty of healthy outdoors exercise. Shall I go on? Well, this is a serious bone-dry white, tasting of custard and nut husks and slightly burnt rice pudding and a splash of lime. And that pheromone thing.
