nv Champagne Oudinot Cuvée Brut, France, 12% ABV
Marks & Spencer, £18.99
M&S are putting some good stuff under their Oudinot label at the moment. This is made mostly from Chardonnay and, although it’s fairly young, has a lovely, gentle, soft quality, mild apple fruit rubbing shoulders with hazelnuts wrapped in a mellow coating of cream.
